Sir Sydney Smith

If you like a pub with a dart board and a lot of bricks this is for you. The sort of place that wouldn’t have existed in this part of London 5 years ago, but by all accounts a very pleasant venue for the teams that visit here. (Known as the Pepper Pot for a few years, but is actually at least 200 years old and was previously known as the Sir Sidney Smith. Why the ‘i’ became ‘y’ I know not).

Been to this pub?

Tell us when you last played there, so we know the board is still up – and do leave any interesting (clean!) stories while you’re at it.

  1. Board is still up and has at least two teams playing out of there from the insurance league. The oche is conveniently located for the bathrooms and the less scrupulous among us may choose to make well-timed trips there whilst one’s opponents are ‘on throw’.

They do good food for the teams there too – usually freshly made pizza
