Adam & Eve

The board is tucked in an alcove on the right hand side of the bar, visible from the road, which is lucky, as I would never have found it otherwise. It always looks ever so invited, with a nice surround giving the board a healthy glow on my 2024 visit – but at busy times the oche is quickly full of people with better things to do. If the King ever wants to follow in the footsteps of his Nan and Gramps (c.1937) and #1 Son and Daughter-in-Law (2023), it is the closest option to his place.

Been to this pub?

Tell us when you last played there, so we know the board is still up – and do leave any interesting (clean!) stories while you’re at it.

16 Feb, 2024. Traveled to London from America for a once-in-a-lifetime trip (and my 60th birthday). I’m a long time competitive thrower so I packed two sets of my darts figuring I would throw while I was there. Saw this recommendation online and found it while I was there. Arrived at 5:30 pm on a Friday afternoon. Walked in expecting to order a pint and toss a few legs. I saw the board exactly where it was said to be, but was greeted by “we’re closing at 6, we’re not serving”. I asked if I could throw a bit but was told “No. If people see you they will want to come in.” WTF!!! It was Friday afternoon!
Do not patronize this place! Rude, selfish people. BTW, board looks pretty beat.
