Temple Brewhouse

For years this pub was in the guide because it contained an almost unplayable board that was mainly for decoration. But in 2022 the Brewhouse joined the gang of paid-for darts venues, with sciencybits on the scoring. The two boards are tucked away on the right once you get to the bottom of the stairs. This is probably my favourite of this sort of darts venue, even if the paying-for-it-because-other-people-cant-do-maths-thing rankles somewhat – and, as far as I know, you can’t use your own darts.

Been to this pub?

Tell us when you last played there, so we know the board is still up – and do leave any interesting (clean!) stories while you’re at it.

Popped in to this pub last night. As the description above hints at, the darts board in this boozer is indeed for “decoration only” – no chance of a game here unfortunately, although a decent enough place for a pint.
