At the back of the vast sports bar is a lonely looking board, which, in 2025, was probably in the worst condition of any board in central London. Seeing as the board has only been put up in the last year or so, this suggests that it gets some use. This place will become a much better place to throw darts as soon as it gets replaced.
As for the name, well it is either a dedication to the US General Hue famed in Vietnam, a Hindu phrase symbolizing Nala’s captivating beauty, or the name for the colour in the evening sky around Elephant Park. You decide.
The pub is part of the Livelyhood group, and has dart boards in a range of pubs that are not in central London, including as at June 2025 The Regent – Balham, The Old Frizzle – Wimbledon, The Artful Duke – Bromley, The Faber Fox – Crystal Palace, The Nel – Clapham South.
