In January 2022 the landlord told me this pub was due to be demolished in March, but in May 2022 it was still standing. Until then….

An ugly pub in a particularly drab spot between Southwark tube and the river – with a roomy throw on the left after  the entrance. (The glory days of 3 boards seem long gone). Clientele was previously an odd mixture of a post-work crowd and tourist families having dinner, but in 2022 it was feeling that Covid emptiness. Worth a final throw before it expires.
