It’s an over-used phrase, but this really is London’s pub darts Mecca. Downstairs, the Horseshoe manages to retain the feel of a real pub with a dart board rather than just being a darts venue; upstairs there are 5 regular boards, plus another 2 hidden in the old office. Unbelievably, most week nights you need to book if you want to play.
Part of the charm of the Horseshoe is that it is hidden away at the end of a couple of cobbled streets, not a Pret or Sainsbury’s local in site. Check opening before visiting at weekends. But do visit.
