Chandos

This is very possibly the best place in central London to throw a few darts with a mate, or practice on your own. The board is tucked away on the ground floor in the furthest corner from Trafalgar Square, in a space that is way too small for tables, chairs, or more than one or two darts players. In what is a typically busy pub in a typically busy part of town, this is a darting oasis. A wonderwall? Don’t going crying your heart out if your darts slide away into the treble 1. (I’ve actually always rather hated this pub, at least, until it got closed by a global pandemic. Now I hope it lives forever).

Been to this pub?

Tell us when you last played there, so we know the board is still up – and do leave any interesting (clean!) stories while you’re at it.

Been here so many times, never realised there was a dart board there. Must be really tucked away!

Great little corner. Had it to myself.
Here on a work trip so put the darts in bag just in case

Only room for 1 or 2 people in this little area.
They have 2 oches for the 1 board, but neither are the correct distance by a good few inches.
The board was also in a disastrous state.
