Aldgate E1 and City EC3

Where The City meets the East-End, for several years this was the best place in London to guarantee a game of darts during weekdays, but 2017 and 2018 saw the beginnings of the grim reaper of ‘development’, notably with the closure of the once-mighty (but never very nice) Peacock, the fabulous Still and Star, and then, saddest of all, the Duke of Wellington on Toynbee Street. Progress this is not.

Pubs highlighted in gold are 5 star and highly recommended.
